no advisories, its got new tyres, very recent rear discs and pads, just been serviced with correct VW501 oil and all filters, oil air, pollen and fuel filter just been done. Its also had the EGR modification and clean out, new sachs clutch kit and a new cambelt kit and water pump fitted 4000 miles ago. The car is superb and fully loaded, has correct and original VW PDC, (parking sensors), heated full leather interior, original Gamma radio and 6 disc autochanger in perfect working order. The climate control works perfectly and is ICE cold, and it has all original pull out rear shelf all in working order, and original tool kit etc. To drive its as VW intended, silent and effortless, gearchange is smooth, and its recently had the top arms changed, theres no knocks or bangs from the suspension, no wheel wobble, and drives absolutely faultlessly. It does 50 mpg on a run and on my commute it returns about 46mpg driven sensibly. The PD VW engines are bullet proof, starts on the button with no rattles or knocks. Its always been well looked after and the mileage has all been motorway between Leicester and Swindon. Its has virtually full service history, the gap is between 120000 and 170000, where it was serviced by the 2nd owner who was a rep for Euro Car Parts, but the cambelt has been stamped when I had it done at 171000 and the full service I have just had done at 176000. Please dont let the mileage put you off, you could buy alot worse at less mileage for alot more money!!! I have both keys, all the original book pack with all the history, handbooks and some odd receipts that went with it! Back to the car itself, the body is in superb condition, no dents or horrible marks other than a slight scuff on the door trim (pictured) and a slight scratch to the door above, although its VERY minor. Other wise the body is perfect, no carpark dents or scuffs on the bumper. All the alloys are in excellent condition and not scuffed. Inside, the car looks like its done 70k, everything works, heated seats, everything, no wear on the seats, no plastics damged although the only note is a small little trim is missing from the rear cigarette lighter, would be pennys from VW, otherwise its spot on and doesn`t give a hint to the mileage, even the gear gaitor is unworn!!! Overall, The car is in superb condition, drives superbly, has always been well cared for and wants for nothing. Even the original tool kit is in the boot, bagged up as it came from the factory, as is the rest of the car. Any inspections welcomed, theres no reserve, and these sell for 4k+ with 120k on them and I want nothing like that figure. Using the pop top and wind out awning she transforms from speedy vehicle to comfortable hidy hole in minutes. She has given us the most comfortable ride any vehicle has and was surprisingly economical on fuel. We love her, but sadly she is just too small for our needs, and that alone is our reason for selling.
