That, sir, is the kiss of death if VW ever hopes to sell this car to young males. With ill-conceived ideas of what constitutes masculine image, guys refuse to even be seen in what they call "a girl's car." More fools, they, because this is a wonderful machine for cruising with the top down and it has the backroads handling that men crave. What's more, the diesel engine, with plenty of passing torque, is a driver's delight. They just recently approved sale of the Jetta as a TDI and before that the Torueg. Each vehicle has to be approved for sale here in the USA. Sucks right?!
