very good, although there are a few stone chips on the bonnet and the occasional light scratch but far fewer than any other car I have seen of this age. The interior of the car is in good condition, no rips or tears on any of the seats. Floor mats are very good quality genuine VW mats costing £50 with none slip clips. There are a few small stains on the front passenger seat (drink stains I think?), they were there when we bought the car and never bothered us, but I’m sure with a bit of upholstery cleaner they would come out. The car had the MOT done a couple of months ago with no advisories, so will come with 10 months MOT. The tax runs out Feb 2012 and has just had a service. 133000 miles (at time of add), which is nothing for a VW diesel. The car will come with the original stereo and 6 disc changer not the CD player as pictured. Onboard trip computer that tells you MPG, range, average speed etc. climatronic air conditioning. 4 brand new tyres fitted a couple of weeks ago. Low road tax, cheap insurance. Remote central locking, comes with 2 keys. Full electric windows/heated wing mirrors Good points: excellent reliability, never let us down. Outstanding MPG. Full electrics, aircon etc alloys in excellent condition no scratches, new tyres, very cheap to run. Surprisingly quick for a small diesel car, the engine is very powerful. Bad points: the odd stone chip and light scratch, far fewer than most cars especially of this age. Small stains on the front passenger seat. The front cup holder doesn`t work. Seats are cloth, beige in colour and has AIR con, electric windows, power steering andreversing sensors... all workingExterior : There is no rust on the car at all, and it only has some minor scuffing here and there from being11 years old. The worst area is the front nearest bumper corner. Also the passenger wing mirror outer casingis broken, easy fix. I have not seen any dents, so if there are any they are small.Interior : Have a beige interior has meant there is some staining, mainly to the rear seats and door cards etc. Witha pro valet (steam) im sure it would come up very nice indeed as there are no damage, just grime.Mechanically : Its a german built VW with low miles, go figure ? I was warned of an intermittent Engine Managementlight that comes and goes, but doesnt affect the cars perfomance...but ive not seen it pop up while i drive it backfrom theres so its very intermittent :). It drives smooth, and with only 26k on the clock its like a new car.Notes :MOT is until mid April, the Tax is disabled tax so cannot be sold with the car legally, sorry.The car was a Cat D (very minor damage) in its early life, I am not legally obliged to tell you that but I am beinghonest. The local paint shop said it would be more expensive to repaint the door than replacing with a secondhand item. The car is otherwise in superb order and benefits from powersteering, central locking, airbag and electric front windows. The car has been regularly serviced from new and I have the original service book. 50 miles to the gallon is easily obtained and the car starts first time, hot or cold. It went through the mot test on Tuesday and only needed a bulb and wiper blade to pass the test.This would make an ideal first car as it is very easy to drive and cheap to insure.
